From Sun to Sweater

As summer fades and fall settles over Harrison, I’ve been reflecting on the past few months—how fast they flew, and how full they felt.

We swam in the lake, soaked up the sunshine, and spent long, easy days with our families.

Now, fall has arrived. The air is crisp, the leaves are turning, and the town is winding down. It’s bittersweet to see the energy of summer fade, but I know our local businesses deserve the rest. They carried us through a busy season.

I love my job and the community I get to serve. There’s a sense of purpose in the work, and a sense of belonging in the people.

Looking ahead, there’s an election coming up in a month. It’s a reminder that even as the seasons change, our civic life continues. I’m hopeful that our community will show up, speak up, and help shape the future of this place we all care about.

Here’s to fall in Harrison—quiet, beautiful, and full of promise.
